This wedding felt like I had stepped into a dreamy, magical romance novel, Pride & Prejudice perhaps. The venue Newick Park, once the home of William Joynson-Hicks (1st Viscount Brentfordgrade) & now a grade II listed country hotel is nestled in the heart of the rolling hills of the stunning East Sussex countryside. The house itself is musky, homely & understatedly grand. It felt inviting & full of mystery, the kind of house in which you could imagine getting lost & finding secret wardrobe leading to other worlds! The gardens were simply breathtaking; my favourite part being walled orchard which had a lovely centrepiece pond surrounded by beds of wild flowers. There were even white geese roaming around freely…could you possibly get any more romantic!? Becky’s creative eye & flawless good taste shone through with every detail; from her vintage wedding dress & accessories to the delicate choice of flowers teemed with antique cut glass vases & silver tableware. Softly spoken, classy & timeless beauty probably sum up the feel of this wedding & lovely couple. It was a wonderful day :)
