This wedding truly was one to remember. When Sapna & Ajit got in touch about their traditional Hindu Wedding to be held in non other than the breathtaking palace-adorned province of Rajasthan in India, I was so excited I could barely contain myself. As my first experience of both India & a Hindu wedding, this 3 day celebration in a truly magical location surpassed all my expectations; From the amazing & endless supply of delicious North-Indian cuisine & entertainment to the groom arriving via elephant to his events! The Sangeet Ceremony was held at the breathtaking Udaipur City Palace & the closing Wedding Ceremony was held on a private island in the middle of one of Udaipur’s 5 lakes, only accessible by small boat. The guests were treated like royalty, perhaps fitting for the state known as “the land of kings”. Everything about this wedding was grand, generous & bursting with colour & vibrance.
